Hector Garcia

Hector Garcia, 67, beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012. He was born on January 28, 1945, in San Francisco del Oro, Chihuahua, Mexico before becoming a longtime resident of El Paso. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. Hector Garcia retired from Dick Poe Dealership after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Fr. Paul Garcia, mother, Maria De Jesus Garcia, and daughter, Lillian Marie Garcia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Elena Garcia. Son: Hector Rene Garcia; daughters, Lillian Marie Anaya, Cynthia Ann Garcia, and Veronica Guadalupe Garcia. Grandchildren: Alex R. Doherty, Nicholas A. Anaya, Olivia R. Garcia, Evelyn A. Garcia, and Alexia M. Esparza. Mother- in- law, Maria Antonia Gonzalez. Siblings, Mary (Chole) Dubrule, Andres A. Garcia and wife Teresa, Paul Garcia Jr. and wife Alicia, David Garcia and wife Betty, Raymond Garcia and wife Rosemary, Lupe Nevarez and husband Jimmy, Connie Fong and husband Martin, and John Anthony Garcia all of El Paso, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, from 5p.m to 9p.m. at Del Angel Martin Funeral Home (3839 Montana, El Paso, Texas 79903). Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, August 9, at 7 p.m. at Del Angel Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 10, at 9:15 a.m. at St Pius X Catholic Church (1050 N. Clark, El Paso, Texas 79905). Burial will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andres A.
