Guillermina S. Moreno

Guillermina S. Moreno passed away quietly in her home on Sunday, April 13, 2014. A life-long resident of El Paso, she is survived by her husband, Carlos Moreno, of 39 years and her two children, Rene Moreno and Veronica Lucio as well as her two brothers, Jose H. Santiago and Camerino Santiago. Valedictorian of the 1969 Bel Air High School graduating class, she went on to serve her community in the medical field for well over forty years. She will be greatly missed by all. A loving wife, mother, and aunt to over twenty nieces and nephews, she could always be counted on to attend all special events including school recitals, band contests, birthdays, religious celebrations, and weddings. We know she is in heaven and will watch over her family until we meet again. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
