As a child my Auntie Monica watched over me often, and I got to spend a lot of time with Lupe and her family. She was always welcoming to her home and her voice was so sweet and kind. Lupe was like the community grandma always making sure everyone was comfortableand taken care of. The last time I saw Lupe was at a baby shower for my husband and myself. As we were thanking everyone for coming, we mentioned to the group that we still didn't have a name for or new bundle of joy.  As people starting throwing out name's, Lupe with her soft, sweet voice spoke- "well how about Austin"? As my husband and I glanced at each other we both nodded in agreeance and smiled. So, now everytime I look at Austin I remember Lupe, and how beautiful it is to have an angel give our son his name. You are incredibly missed Lupe. Thank you for leaving such an amazing imprint on our lives.  ❤

Lupe was a sweet, kind, and loving person who always treated our family so nicely. She was a wonderful neighbor and a great friend to Sara Ortega. We will remember Lupe for her beautiful smile, and cherish how her love touched our lives.
