Gloria Magaña

A loving mom, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on Friday May 17, 2024. She grew up dancing folklorico until she married. Family and music was what made her happy.

Gloria is survived by her children Rudy Magaña (Dora), Barney Magaña (Patsy) and Dolores Magaña. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and her brother Robert (Bobby) Gomez.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Rudy Magaña Sr, her daughter Sylvia Magaña. Parents Bernardino and Elvira Gomez, brothers George Gomez, Dr. Richard Gomez, Raymond Gomez, Tony Gomez, Simon Gomez and sister Alicia Gracia.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Monday, May 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Monday, May 27, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Santo Nino De Atocha Church, 210 S Clark Dr, El Paso, TX 79905. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 4301 Alameda Ave, El Paso, TX 79905.
