She graduated from Bowie High School, 1946, worked briefly at Kress, and was an ardent crocheter, bowler, Elvis Presley and Dallas Cowboy fan.
Survivors are her daughters Grace Fermier (Lee-d), Norma Gonzalez (Tury), Audrey Rodriguez (Jose), and Dolores Guillen; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister Emma S. Villa. She was preceded in death by her husband Salvador Guillen, brothers Gilbert Silva and Jesus V. Silva.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 16, 2024 at 5:00 PM with rosary services at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of the Light Church, 4700 Delta Drive. Burial will be at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
Pallbearers are grandson Salvador Salcido, son-in-law Tury Gonzalez, and nephews Luis M. Villa, Jr., Francisco Villa, Miguel Esparza and Jim De la Cruz.
