Gill Patrick Omohundro

Gill Patrick Omohundro, 62, born Oct. 18, 1948 passed away Sept 16, 2011. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was an honorable man that went from being an eagle Boy Scout to following in his father’s footsteps by serving in the Army. During that time he fought in the Vietnam War with the 1st Air Cavalry Division. Due to his bravery he received a medal of heroism and other honors. He later worked in the post office where by many of his caring friends he was known as “Big Bird”. He was a man that loved saying jokes, and showed his family how much he cared for them. The touch of his charisma and charm will never be forgotten by his love ones. Visitation will be held 5pm to 9pm Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at St. Michaels Post Chapel #2. Intermentto follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
