In loving memory of “Porky Rojas” who has gone to join our heavenly father. He was a proud graduate of “ La Jeff” where he excelled in basketball and baseball, proudly served his country in the US Navy and worked for Sam Club for over 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother Eduardo ( The original ”Porky”) Father Arnulfo mother Hortencia. He is survived by his sons Gibby, Fred, Mark and their mother Terry Rojas and granddaughter Ashlie Rojas. He is also survived by his partner of over 30 years Margie Estrada, her children Michelle ( Rob) Tristan, Mike ( Lauren) Isabella, and Lucian, his sister Irma Hernandez, nieces Yvette Vargas ( Henry ) Stephanie Rae Cardenas (Ben) Grand nieces Andrea, Ashley, and Kimberly. In retirement he enjoyed going to sports venues, breakfast/lunch with his old time buddies and visiting casinos.
A visitation for Gilberto will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. A scripture service will occur Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 12:00 PM, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. A committal service will occur Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
