George is survived by his son George Saavedra Jr.; his son Joe Saavedra; and his son Jerry Saavedra; his sister Sylvia Saavedra.
George was preceded in death by his spouse Martha Saavedra; his brother Robert Saavedra and his brother Armando Saavedra.
Mr. Saavedra also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren to cherish his memories.

A funeral mass will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St, El Paso, Texas 79930. A graveside service will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 4848 Alps Dr., El Paso, Texas 79904.
