George Michael Isaac Jr. was born in Ford City, Pennsylvania on June 26, 1937. He passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 85. His family moved to Texas when he was 6 years old, and from then on, El Paso became his lifelong home. He graduated from El Paso High, then Texas Western College, and later the University Of Texas Dental School in Houston, TX. George’s dental career began in 1963 and ended with his retirement in December 2019. In addition to his general dental practice, he was a consultant to the radiation oncologists in El Paso, as well as a Forensic Dentist and president of the American Board of Forensic Odontology. His many hobbies included fishing, flying as a private pilot and achieving every certification available for single engine aircraft - including flight instructor - and serving in his church as a deacon and mentor at Christ the King Presbyterian Church.
George Isaac is survived by his wife Phyllis of 62 years, his brother Anthony, his sister Jeanette Ramey, his two sons Rev. Charles (Marivi) Isaac, David (Danell) Isaac M.D., five grandchildren Justin (Amanda) Isaac, Daniel (Natalie Jaime) Isaac, Briana (Daniel) Melius, Kristen (Benjamin) Carpenter, Nathan Isaac, and six beloved great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Presbyterian Church (1500 N. Resler, El Paso, TX 79912) at 11:00 a.m. on February 17, 2023. The Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Rd., El Paso, TX, 79906) at 1:00 p.m.
