Our loving Father, George Garcia passed away on November 16, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Leticia Garcia and their 3 children Irma and Millie Garcia, Lucy and son-in-law, Michael Kramer. His 6 grandchildren; Carolina and Sebastian Garcia, Alexandra, Andrea, Patrick, Christian Kramer and his two sisters Molly Abu-Issa, Estela Martinez and their families. He worked For Raytheon Company for 40 years as an Electrical Engineer. He attended Cathedral High School and the University of Texas at El Paso.
Thank you Dad for all your love and many lessons you showed us through your words and actions such as: "Live one day a time", "Smile at the world and the world will smile back at you", "don't dwell on petty things", "Forgive and move on", "Enjoy life for the simple and the grand", "Always be there for each other".
You always offered your help when needed, a shoulder to cry on, a smile and kind words to everyone. Your great sense of humor kept us laughing and happy, your commitment to family kept us together, Your love for God, church and Praying the Rosary inspired our own spirituality. You fought your way through every illness, injury and bad days. You are loved by so many people becuase you have been a great Father, husband and friend, an Angel and Hero who will never be forgotten. You will live forever in our hearts... we love you dad.
Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20th from 5pm to 9 p.m. with a Vigil at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Monday, November 21st at 11am.
