Frank Ruiz, age 82, entered eternal life on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Frank was born to Alfred and Beatrice Ruiz on February 22, 1936 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was the owner of Ruiz Optic’s Inc. DBA as Weaver Scope Repair Service for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dolly Telles. Frank is survived by his loving Wife and best friend Rachel Gomez Ruiz of 48 years and also as his caregiver for 4 years. He is also survived by his two sisters Gloria Cardoza (Julian), Minerva Alvidrez, and his brother Alfred Ruiz.
I would like to give my special thanks to my sister Rose Bazan, Claudia Diaz RN, Dave Potter, and Randy Schnuer who were always there for us also to the nurses and staff at Global Hospice for the wonderful care and attention they provided for my husband Frank.
The funeral mass will take place at Saint Genevieve Catholic Church in Las Cruces, New Mexico at 100 South Espina St. at 11:30 am on February 9, 2019. At his request cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow at St. Genevieve’s Columbarium.
