Francisco Negrete, 88, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Monday, July 27th. Mr. Negrete was a boot maker and steel worker for 34 years and retired from the Ysleta Independent School District. Mr. Negrete was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church and a longtime member of the Carolina Senior Center. He is survived by his loving wife, Natalia C. Negrete, daughters Angelica Silva and husband, Roberto, Armida N. Olson and husband, Dale, Adela N. Myers and husband, Carlton and Graciela Negrete, brother Gilberto Negrete, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, July 31st from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina with Vigil beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 1st at 9:00 AM at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home.
