Frances was born June 12, 1926 to James Ernest and Della Lou Baber in Dallas, Texas. The family moved to El Paso, Texas where Frances met and married the love of her life, Alva (Jack) Bruce Haney, June 2, 1949 at Grandview Baptist Church. They were happily married for over 50 years.
Frances was employed with Mountain Bell Telephone Company from June 1943 until she retired in August 1976.
Frances was a long time member of Montana Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Haney is survived by Ronald Haney and wife Debbie of Lubbock, Texas, Elizabeth Cummings and husband Jerry of Dallas Texas and Ava Chandler and husband Keith of Roundrock, Texas. Great nephew and nieces Keith Haney of Sachse, Texas Kevin Haney of Lubbock, Texas Kristina Haney Laeding and husband, Travis of Kansas City, Missouri, William Chandler and wife, Denise of Phoenix, Arizona, Kelli Haney Strickland and husband Aron of Shallowater, Texas. Great-great nephew and nieces Brayden Strickland, Makenna Strickland, Kaitlynn Laeding, Alexandria Laeding, Gloria Laeding and Raquel Laeding. Our family wishes to give our heartfelt thanks to loving friend and care giver Connie Munoz.
Preceding Frances in death, Alva (Jack) Bruce Haney, siblings, James Baber, Katherine Baber Coffman, Virginia Baber Hale, Margaret Baber Smith, nieces Betty Galyean and Sandra Hale Chandler.
Services will be Friday, July 29, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell chapel at 8817 Dyer Street. Interment will be at Restlawn Cemetery following the service. Officiating is Pastor Ben Hodge. Pallbearers are Ronald Haney, Keith Haney, Kevin Haney William Chandler, Aron Strickland and Brayden Stickland. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 form 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
