Fernando Peña Sr.

Fernando Peña Sr., loving husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to join his wife in heaven on May 9, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born November 27, 1928 to Maria Luisa and Silvestre Peña Sr. in El Paso, Texas. He was married for 67 years to the love of his life, Ramona G. Peña, until her passing two years ago. He joined and proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. He worked as a mechanic in heating and refrigeration for various supermarkets and retired at the El Paso Natural Gas company. Left to cherish his memory are his six children; Fernando Jr., Irma Saenz (George), Alberto, Gabriel, Melissa Duran (Martin), and Orlando (Alice), nine grandchildren, and eleven great-granchildren. Two surviving brothers, Vidal and Silvestre (Jr.) Peña. He was a member of ALFC Church.
