Born on January 11th in El Paso, Texas, Fabian led a remarkable life dedicated to service, family, and education. After completing 22 years of faithful service to our country, he set an example for many others pursuing higher studies, ultimately earning his Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
A Veteran, Fabian had served his country with honor and distinction for 22 years in the Army. He spent the majority of his career as a tanker, and earned cavalry honors with the 11th ACR. A unit with a long and proud history. During his military career, he exemplified courage, resilience, and dedication, earning numerous commendations and accolades for his exemplary service. He was tremendously proud of his service in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Kosovo. He also served as a Civilian advisor in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring freedom.
Beyond his military service, Fabian was a devoted husband to Sonya Diaz, his wife of over 30 years. While together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and many memories.
As a father, Fabian was a source of unwavering love, guidance, and inspiration to his four children, Vanessa, John, Jared, and Raven. He instilled in them the values of integrity, perseverance, and compassion, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today.
In addition to his dedication to family and country, Fabian Diaz was deeply committed to lifelong learning and personal growth. He approached every endeavor with passion and intellect, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Fabian Diaz will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of crossing paths with him. His legacy of service, love, and wisdom will continue to inspire generations to come.
