Eunice Marie Goldsmith, 97 of El Paso, Texas passed away November 14, 2024. She was born on April 25, 1927, in Marinette, Wisconsin. Eunice graduated from Marinette High School. She also received her diploma in nursing from Milwaukee General Hospital and later, her master’s degree from UTEP.
She married Donald Louis Goldsmith on September 15, 1951.
Eunice was in the nursing and medical field having worked at Providence Memorial Hospital and also at University of Texas at El Paso.
She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, ANA, TNA (president), and Pilot Club. Her passion was to help others, she enjoyed knitting and crochet.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Donald Louis Goldsmith, sons Craig Goldsmith and James “Babbit” Goldsmith.
She is survived by her children Timothy Goldsmith, Richard Goldsmith, and Diana Holguin (Tito). Grandchildren Neil Grazyk, Crystal Thyrion, Jessica Kelsey, Amy Heider, Joshua Goldsmith, Patricia Benoit, Nicole Greene, Christopher Holguin and Jesse Goldsmith. Siblings Eunice Shewe, Lois and James Polzin.
Services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 10:00 am at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912.
