

Enrique “Rick” Amor, 49, born November 3, 1962 of El Paso TX passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on August 16, 2012. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years as a postal carrier. He recently received an ‘Expert Driver Certificate’ for 25 years of safe driving. He was a collector of angels, enjoyed playing pool and was a die-hard Longhorn and Dallas Cowboy fan. He was the glue that kept his family together in good and bad times, and always was prepared for any situation that may arise.
He was preceded in death by Father, Francisco Amor Sr. and Sister, Armida Valles.
Enrique is survived by his mother Aurora Amor and his siblings: Alice Valdespino, Rosalia Amor (Saul), Francisco Amor Jr.(Ana), Celia Estrada (Gonzalo), Jose Amor (Martha), Josie Amor (Joe), and David Amor Sr. As well as several beloved extended family: the closest to him Sandra Amor and Marlene Reza, 13 nieces, 15 nephews, and 22 god-children.
He was a very devoted Catholic.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Del Angel Martin Funeral Home (Central) 3839 Montana Ave. Viewing will be from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Vigil at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 starting at 9:30am at Santo Nino de Atocha Parish, 210 S Clark Rd., El Paso, TX 79905. Followed by burial services at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Road, El Paso, TX 79907.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Amor, Carlos Amor, David Amor, Francisco Amor Jr., Jose Amor, and Tony Rincon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be god-sons: George Prieto, Martin Prieto, Joshua Amor, Nathan Limon, Javier Jimenez, Michael Amor, and Joshua Rodriguez. As well as Postal Service workers and friends: Armando Moreno, Armando Adame, Edel Santiesteban, and Isidro Gardea.
