Enrique Pedroza passed away on Saturday evening in Los Angeles, California surrounded by family. He was the 8th child out of 10 born to Daniel and Luz Pedroza. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Eva Rueda, and nephew Josh Becerra. He is survived by his wife Martha whom he married in 1991 and deeply loved for 23 years. He is survived by eight brothers and sisters: Lupe Sosa, Rosa De La Rosa (Carlos), Daniel (Francisca), Jose, Belma Cuevas (Fidel), Lolita Rocha, Mona Mares (Ruben), Lulu Pedroza and Eli. He is also survived by his dearly loved nieces and nephews. His cousins, family-in-law and many friends will miss him. Enrique was a graduate of Jefferson High School in El Paso, TX. He worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company for 33 years and in his later years he worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles. His amiable and affable personality impelled him to work with people thus his part-time career as a hairdresser for Modern Trend and later Pedroza's Hair Studio alongside his niece Cookie, where his clients were thought-of as friends. However, the career that Enrique enjoyed the most and was infinitely passionate about, was that of being a Jehovah's Witness. Teaching people about the Bible was always his most important endeavor. He was an active member of the Spanish congregation and when he later recognized the need to reach the deaf community in El Paso, he learned American Sign Language. The Pedroza family would like to thank all of the people that continually demonstrated so much love and support throughout this painful ordeal. The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at 12:00 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 5700 Aladdin Ave, El Paso, TX.
