A lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. Mom attended El Paso High School. Happily married to Raymundo Alvarado Sr. for 65 years, she worked as a dental hygienist at Fort Bliss and retired from Civil Service after 26 years. Emma is survived by her husband, Raymundo and their four children, Raymundo Alvarado Junior, Herlinda (Carl) Stoudt, Rodolfo Alvarado, and Edna Lerma. Mom and Dad had 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was a parishioner at Most Holy Trinity. An avid gardener, read” The Lord of the Rings” once a year and was an occasional rider of motorcycles. Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Friday May 1, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina with Vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 pm on Saturday May 2, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 1000 Pheasant Road.
