She was born on March 19, 1928 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico to Horacio Perez Parra and Mercedes Manjarrez de Perez.
Mrs. Aguilar was a lifelong nurse and a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and community supporter. She was a devout Catholic and faithful member of Virgen de los Desamparados HCC-AR. She was also a member of LULAC council 9.
Emma was preceaded by her husband, Carlos Aguilar Jr.
She is survived by her son Carlos Aguilar III; grandson Carlos Aguilar IV and granddaughter Jacqueline E. Aguilar. She also leaves 2 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Mrs. Aguilar will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (rosary at 7PM) at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Funeral mass will be Friday, August 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco, El Paso, TX 79903 with graveside to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
