Elizabeth 'Liz' Cox, aged 72, of El Paso, TX, passed away on December 31, 2023. Born on October 24, 1951, in Wayne County, Michigan, Elizabeth spent her early years there before moving to Southern California and eventually settling in El Paso, TX, 23 years ago, with her beloved late husband, Lewellyn Cox. She was the middle child of the late Francis Hamilton and James Hopper, among nine siblings. Known for her strong faith and fierce spirit, Liz was deeply devoted to her family. She cherished her role as a wife to Lewellyn Cox III, and as a loving mother to her three sons, Anthony, Lewellyn IV, and Aaron. Liz's love extended to her ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Beyond her immediate family, she was a motherly figure to many, offering guidance and support to friends and extended family with open arms and a generous heart.
