Elisa Medina Ramirez

On Monday July 05, 2021, Elisa Medina Ramirez, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Elisa was born on March 30, 1933 in Jalisco, Mexico to the late Isidro Medina and Maria Jimenez Moran.

Elisa worked as a seamstress apprentice and home maker in her adopted hometown of El Paso, Texas. She had a love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elisa was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Elisa is survived by her son Robert Medina (Teresa), her six grandchildren to include Edmundo Castro (Laura), Raul Medina Jr, and Ruben Medina (Roxanne), her eleven great grandchildren to include Zoe, Lily, Zia, Aden, and Amani as well as her daughter in law Celia Medina. Furthermore, Elisa is survived by her brothers Elipidio Uribe and Juan Hernandez (Celia), and numerous in laws, nieces and nephews.

Elisa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hilario Ramirez, and son Raul Medina Sr. as well as her sister Guadalupe Hernandez and brothers Felix Uribe and Heriberto Medina.

She also leaves behind to cherish her memory eleven great grand children to include Zoe, Lily, Zia, Aden and Amani as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm, with Rosary at 7:00pm, Thursday, July 22, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be 10:30am Friday, July 23, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, followed by committal service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Tentative pallbearers will be Edmundo Castro, Raul Medina Jr, Ruben Medina, Juan Medina, Jaime Medina and Julian Varela
