Elaine May Sills

Elaine May Kasehagen Sills passed from this life on Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born October 11, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois and moved to El Paso, Texas with her parents as a young woman. She met and married David Gilbert Sills. She was employed and retired from the Finance Office at Fort Bliss, Texas. Elaine was involved in many activities and clubs throughout her life, including Beta Sigma Phi, the Lower Valley Women’s Club, and the El Paso Women’s Club. She was a talented artist, an avid Bridge player, and a world traveler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Gilbert Sills, her parents, Zella Eaton Martin and Walter Todd Kasehagen, and brother, Arthur Todd Kasehagen. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jimmy and Lynda Chambers, Coleman, Texas, granddaughter, Mandy Chambers, Hempstead, Texas, brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Claudia Kasehagen, Albuquerque, New Mexico, several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

The family gives special, heartfelt, thanks to Elaine’s special 24/7 caregivers, CIMA Hospice, both of her home healthcare nurses, the many doctors and nurses, hospital staffs, and the staff at Rio Norte Retirement Center who all made sure she was comfortable and well provided for with loving care and attention.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 2:00PM at Restawn Memorial Park in the Chapel Mausoleum, 8700 Dyer, Services entrusred to Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home, 320 Montana Ave. El Paso, Tx 79902
