On Thursday January 4, 2018 to heaven’s benefit, Efren Baeza Jr. was called from this world. He is preceded in death by his only son, Efren Baeza III and his sister Jay. He leaves behind his soulmate and wife of over 40 years, Rebecca Baca Baeza and their 3 daughters, Adela (Brandon) Moody, Victoria (Anthony) Olmos and Andrea (Gabriel) Arciniega. His parents, Efren And Bertha Baeza, sister, Gilda (Felipe) Ortego. He had nine wonderful grandchildren who he lovingly referred to as his “Partners”, Matthew, Axis, Alexander, Samara, Calista, Allison, Maisie, Wyatt and Katelyn. He graduated from Burges High School in 1974. He worked for many years at Singh’s Produce and Bug Busters pest control and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan all of his life. Efren loved the music of his generation and let us all know how much as often and loud as he could. Never letting those around him down, he often drove all over El Paso ensuring that everyone had what they needed and were happily fed. He was a facetious man with a heart of gold and we will all walk a bit heavier without him being in our world. A very special thanks to Dr. Pazmino and all the staff at Da Vita and Sierra for all the care they gave him. “Now you are the Breeze, watch over us.” Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-East.
