Eddie was a wonderful childhood friend. We would walk to Glen Cove Elementary, and race back home to play till it was dinner time. He lived 2 houses down from us and we had the best time together. My Mother cried to me on the phone when she told me that Eddie passed away. I am still in disbelief.

All of us in the UTEP Development Office, where Eddie worked before moving to the Scholarships Office, loved Eddie very much. He was always smiling and joking, and he made work a happy place to be. I can’t remember Eddie ever having a bad day. If he did, we didn’t know it. He was just a ray of sunshine. He’d still come by to visit after he left our office and it always made everyone’s day to see him again. Our prayers go out to his family. God bless you, Eddie.
