Edward J. Vasquez

Edward J. Vasquez, “Eddie” born August 26, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA passed away September 25, 2015 in Binghamton, NY. Eddie graduated in Frankfurt, Germany. He was owner/operator of Vasquez Truck Lines. Eddie liked to camp, fish, and loved to travel. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed meeting new people. He was a very kind man and would help anyone. We will miss him so much. He will be in our hearts forever. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Jim S. Vasquez Jr. and Renate I. Vasquez. He leaves behind his princess/side kick Schatzie, Sophia (Maltese); wife, Philomena Albaugh; children, Steven (Ladawn) Vasquez, Robert (Kathy) Vasquez; one granddaughter; sisters, Mary Vasquez (Manny), Yvonne (Ernesto) Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Teresa Perez and many nieces and nephews. Eddie always made sure that the love of his life, Philomena and his little Schatzie had everything they needed and more. Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Harding Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
