Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and friend. Born in Brackettville, Tx., he later moved to El Paso, Tx., attended Elementary School and then graduated from Austin HS and then joined the United States Air Force, where he served in Korea.
He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, UTEP Miners, he loved and played golf, coached little league baseball and had a personality bigger than life. He loved animals, especially dogs and always had a pet, or two. He was full of life, always had a story to share and was a very upbeat and positive man. He was an inspiration to many and always encouraged people to pursue their dreams. He said “put your trust in God, because he has a plan for you”.
He is preceded in death by his Parents (Hilario “HS” Perea & Delfina Perea), his Sisters’ (Faye Viola & Jim Viola-brother-in-law) (Elodia Conde & Tony Conde, Sr-brother-in-law), his Nephew (Tony Conde, Jr) his Grandson (Jordan Paul Granados), his Great Granddaughter (Elizabeth Joanne Granados) and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and many fur babies.
He is Survived by his wife of 66 years, Nancy E. Perea, his daughters, Monica Perea-Mireles, Lorraine (Perea) Willis and Viveca (Perea) Granados. He has 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He’s also survived by several Nephews, Nieces and their families.
A Memorial-Visitation will be held on the 27th from 6- 8pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central located at 3839 Montana Ave. April 28th there will be a graveside service at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10:00 am. The Family would like to extend a very special “Thank-You” to Green Mountain Hospice, LLC. and Valerie Lugo and her team. They were so kind and helpful and Rocky loved them. May God continue to bless them and the work they do! Also, a huge Thank you to his Caregiver, Carolina.
