Eduardo Arias Rocha bid, and his next job was accepted to heaven and peace on March 31, 2021. Big Ed was a genius master plumber, working plumbing was a passion for him, an evolving steered focus on finding solutions on and off the job site. His principal goal was to pass on the respect of the plumbing trade to all that were willing to learn. His proudest honor is his plumbing legacy being passed on thriving into his children. Each offspring gaining his life's work philosophy and wisdom in the important industry of plumbing.
Eddie was born in El Paso, TX, raised in Southside on Rivera Ave. A Jefferson High School alum. Started off as the youngest child. Meeting his first wife Delia when he was a youngster, later reconnecting as teenagers at a high school football game. A 13 year marriage followed producing 4 sibling strong family (Eddie Jr. Roxanne, Nicholas, Michael). Eddie’s second marriage to Lisa produced his pride and joy Jacob. Eddie’s third marriage to Marina brought a new resurgence of devotion as he inherited 4 step grandchildren Roman, Marina, Emanuel, and Eric which he brought love and laughter to their lives.
Eddie’s hobbies when he was not working was talking to his children, talk shop, water his grass, and share pictures of all his grandchildren. His biggest enjoyment was having coffee with breakfast with his family. He loved to take out his siblings to dinner and have long traditional dinners over great food and coffee. Reminiscing over stories about family trips, family members in Mexico and California.
Eddie was a beloved enchanting, revered father, and generous boss. A quiet man, his personality shined through telling jokes to lighten the serious nature of life, thus making friends easily. In his 20’s Eddie took a chance on himself and launched his successful plumbing contract career. Throughout his career he enjoyed helping other achieve their plumbing goals. Whenever someone needed a job and boost, Eddie offered a job or bid for them, because Eddie had been there himself. He knew, you just must help those who want to help themselves.
An avid plumber, he showed his pride through his craftsmanship on all jobs. His motto was your hard work will bring you more work, and so when he had difficulties his reputation always earned him more opportunities. Eddie was and will be a symbol to his children to never give up no matter how deep of a hole you are in, you have the tools, just start and eventually you will finish.
He is survived by spouse Marina, (Roswell, NM), his children Eduardo Jr. (Regina), Roxanne, Nicholas, Michael (Amanda), and Jacob, grandchildren: Paulette, Agustin, Benicio, Penelope; Roman, Lil Marina, Emanuel, and Eric, sister Socorro, brother Manuel.
He was preceded by parents Francisco & Andrea, brother Federico, his son Eric, nephew Joey.
Memorial and Rosary Services will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021, visitation from 4-8 pm, Rosary at 6 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, TX. The Rosary will be livestreamed through Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/fdacentral/
