Eduardo Roberto Herrera

Ed Herrera age 76 passed away on Wednesday April 26, 2017. He was born July 25, 1940 in El Paso Texas to Gilberto G Herrera and Carmen R Herrera. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and continued his studies at the University of Texas (Texas Western College) in El Paso. He graduated with a master’s degree in Education and became a beloved principal with the El Paso Public Schools. Ed Loved football and playing golf, but his passion was regularly playing Handball. He is survived by his wife Sharon Herrera; brother Gilberto (Ruth), and his sister Dolores Herrera. His children Dr. Eduardo Jr. (Kirstin), Yvette Mireles (Arthur), Samuel (Jill), Rachael (Jeff), Catherin and Jonathan Herrera. Grandchildren, Andrew, William, Mathew, Jacob, Quintin, Dylan, Amber, Page, Jackson, Samantha, Sofia, Billie Flecher, and great grandson Choice Mireles. Family, friends and others whose lives Ed touched are invited to a memorial service at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N Carolina Dr. El Paso Texas 79915 on Thursday May 18 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
