Today we would like to say, "Lets celebrate", not only to a person that was husband, father, brother, friend and a colleague, but someone who always had a vision. His dreams and aspirations drove him to be and become who he was. Throughout his life he met people and experienced things that seem to only happen in movies: he went to school with James Dean, met the Beatles, Fidel Castro, and president of Chile Augusto Pinochet. This, too, influenced, his wide range of music choices, ranging from Bob Marley to Juan Gabriel. He had many innovative ideas, many of them that he accomplished through his advertising agency and marketing businesses. He did the advertising for United Airlines, created the Borden Gang, and insurance program for medical care for those who fell ill abroad. He was a risk-taker in every sense. I know he gave many of us the ability to dream and be more than we ever thought we could be. His children and family agree; he wanted all to see and enjoy life and make great things happen. He taught us all to look at the beautiful things in life, big or small. His photographs of fruits, flowers, buildings and the largest tides in the sea are always an influence to bring out the best in all who knew him. His off-the-wall humor, ability to fix things with crazy glue or duct tape, and his eccentric ways were another reason why we all loved him. His ability to inspire was a true gift, and we can all thank him for that. He gave us all quite a journey! We will not mention immediate family left behind. He left more than family. So, to you Ed Fowler, we raise our glasses, shining down on us from above, with the Holy Father and His Son. Cheers! We love you and will keep you in our hearts forever.
