We were sadden to learn of Hector's death.  He has been a life long friend and just visited us this past spring.  He was always such a warm and friendly person.  We feel blessed to have known his these many years. He always kept in touch with us.  While we lived in Springfield, VA he always enjoyed coming to our tree trimming parties.

Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.  We know how much you will miss him.

I just heard about Hector last evening. All day today, I could not stop crying. God Bless Good Hector. I cannot say anything more.

What a gentleman he was, so easy-going and pleasant, There are many people here in the Washington DC area where he lived and worked, that will remember him warmly and wish his family well. It was a pleasure to have known this fine fellow.

It was with shock and sadness that I learned of Hector's passing this morning from a mutual friend. He was a lovely man, a valued friend, whose wit and sharp intelligence made every conversation with him a treat,as did his warmth and sweet nature. We will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with Hector,and my deepest condolences to his family.

I am just learning of Hector's passing and my heart goes out to his family.  Hector spent many dinners with me in my home and was a welcome guest every Thanksgiving.  I will miss his humor, intelligence and kindness.  He was a dear friend, whom I grew to love like a family member.

May you be comforted and find peace in remembering how much better he left this world through his work as a scientist and by his goodness and intelligence. Hugs to you all.
