Dolores Romero was born on April 11, 1935 in Smeltertown, Texas to Canuto Mendoza and Silveria Coronado. She entered into rest on Sunday, August 13, 2023 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 88.

Dolores is survived by her sons Sam Orona and Angel Romero Jr; daughters Julie Romero Morris and Ysela Stefanski; grandchildren Sammy, Daniel, Theresa, and Robert Orona, Shelbie (Brandon) Barbe, Michael and Lauren Stefanski, Wren Romero and Meabh Gilhooley; and great-grandchildren Beckham, Blair, Maria, Gabriel, Sofia, Anthony, and Victor.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, Angel Romero Sr.

A memorial service for Dolores will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 805 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903.
