Dolores L. Chavez, 84, Left us to be with “Our Beloved Lord” on March 9, 2016. Survived by sons: Manuel Chavez Jr; Francisco Chavez, Jose Chavez, Jorge Chavez, Alberto Hernandez, daughters: Martha Gloria Silva, Maria Reyna Chavez, Herlinda Chavez, Sally Chavez, Isabel Flores, brothers: Aurelio Lara, Alberto Lara, Ramon Rivera, Jesus Rivera, sisters: Francis Rittman, Cruz Lara, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-9pm on March 14, 2016 at Hillcrest with a vigil to follow at 7pm. Mass will be on March 15, 2016 at 12:00pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, 598-3332.
