1925 – 2020
Dolly Lou Gibson, age 94, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born November 11, 1925, in Union County, Ohio to Harry & Leila Paver. Dolly grew up in Ohio and moved to El Paso in 1947 where she was a homemaker. During her life in El Paso she was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dolly was married to Homer (Gib) Gibson for 53 years. He proceeded her in death. She is survived by her 4 children Sue A. (Mahlon) Gascho, Gloria J. Stevens, Linda L. (Ken) Rosa, & Robert W. (Mirna) Gibson. 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, & 2 Great Great Grandchildren. 1 brother John (Dick) Paver. She was very active throughout her lifetime. She delivered newspapers for the El Paso Hearld-Post for more than 20 years and won “Carrier of the Year” twice. She spent her golden years traveling with her grandson Rick Winton, who was her primary caregiver for the last 20 years. Dolly was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Visitation for Dolly will be Noon, Monday, March 16, 2020, followed by the service at 1 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 1340 Murchison Dr. El Paso, Texas. Pastor Neil Locke officiating.
