It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Delia H. Chavez, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and aunt on August 4th, 2022 in El Paso, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her brother Jose Hernandez, her children, Ruben, Oscar and his spouse Connie, Javier and his spouse Angie, Elizabeth and her spouse Hector, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Born in Parral, Mexico on October 23, 1930. She was a caring mother, always willing to lend a helping hand, mentor to her children, grandchildren and nieces. Her thoughtfulness, advice will always be missed but never forgotten.
A Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm, at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday August 13, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament, 9025 Diana Rd., El Paso, Texas 79904. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 8700 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904.
