Delfina R. Ortiz

Our Matriarch, Delfina Ortiz, 99, has left earth to be with her heavenly father. She was the strength of our family, an amazing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed praising the Lord by singing at home. Her spirit filled blessings touched everyone.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Fidel Ortiz Jr., Roberto Ortiz (Elvira) Del Chaffino, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Fidel C. Ortiz, son Fernando Ortiz and daughter Delia Rubio.

Pallbearers: Eric Chaffino, Leonard Chaffino, Robert J. Ortiz, David Rubio, Michael Ortiz and Gilbert Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers: Albert Ortiz , Tim Ortiz and Steve Rubio. A special thank you to Hospice El Paso, Nurse Liz Garcia and staff.

Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00am at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
