David Marmolejo Jr.

David Marmolejo Jr. passed away on February 16 at the age of 54 in Alabama. Formerly of El Paso, Texas, David was a graduate of Andress High School and served U.S Army as a SFC for 20 years. After David retired, he continued to serve our Country working for Northrop Grumman in research and development. While at Northrop Grumman he was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq numerous times with both U.S. and Australian Forces.

David received his Bachelors Degree in Information Technology with Trident University and graduated with honors, Magna cum lade, and was only months away from obtaining his Masters.

David was preceded in death by his parents David M. Marmolejo, Luz M. Lewis and Willard P. Lewis.

He is survived by his Wife Aurora of 32 years, his Sons Anthony (Vijal) Hector (Marisol), David (Rosie), Grandchildren, Nicole, Tatiana, Isaac and Alyssa. Siblings Ralph Marmolejo, Laura Taylor, John Lewis, Sharon Lewis, Michele Lewis Osborn, Michael Lewis, Erin Lewis & Sherrie Lewis Placencio. In addition, David also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, great nephews & nieces and other family members.

David will be DEEPLY missed by his wife, children, family, many friends and work associates. Funeral arrangements are being made by Martin Funeral Home on George Dieter, El Paso, TX 79936. Funeral is scheduled on Monday, March 18, 2019. Mass will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (11700 Pebble Hills Blvd., El Paso, TX 79936) at 11:15am. Internment will be at 1:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, TX 79906. Family requests that in lieu of flowers to please make a donation in David’s name to
