My dear uncle how I miss you so ever much. Your smile from ear to ear with your beautiful perfect white teeth (which you took great pride in). 

Now I understand when you use to say "my heart hearts" because mine hearts like never before. Although you would say it in a funny or silly way like when the Dallas Cowboys would lose a game or an ending to a movie would make you cry. You had the biggest heart for everyone and everything in life.  

We will all soon be together again and I can't wait because life is just not the same without you. I owe you a movie and my mom owes you your favorite enchiladas. 

I want to hear you say "It's so hot in here huh girl, it's like the dragon is breathing down on us"

Gettie was the best family member a family a could have. He was a loving person that anybody could ever know. The funny things he would do and say is on Christmas my grandma  got a     leg lamp and he put the lamp shade over his           head and wore it like a hat.what he would say    shut it girl to my grandma .He was the best  person any one could ever know.

I will miss you dear friend, your big beautiful smile with that big beautiful personality to match, our talks and email exchanges, and especially your delightful terms of endearment: darling, sweetheart, honey, doll—and my favorite—corazón! Light up heaven, just like you lit up every room when you entered, and New York City when you came to visit! Honey, you are forever in my corazón.

Oh dear where to start I have known my Sistah from another Mistah for 30years..I a trouble teen at 15 met David at the club, he discoed and I did the smurf as we danced to Janet Jackson! He took care of me from there on out!!! Our friendship weaved in and out throughout the years but at every chapter we always ended up at each other side..There never was a moment when we parted ways that we didnt tell each other we loved each other. .we were loca locas together he s gone and took my secrets with him Hahahaha but our love as family filled our hearts...

David was larger than life and was one of the loveliest people you could ever meet.He came to New Zealand 5 years ago for only 5 days...and people still remember and ask about him!His sense of humour was legendary and I still laugh thinking about our adventures here.His impressions and dance moves will never be forgotten.David you were taken not just from your family, but from your friends as well, way too soon!!At least we have a fabulous guardian angel looking down on us all...when the cowboys arent playing that is!!

Chito, thank you for a life fulfilled. You made every moment count. As I look back, I can only smile at all the good times. We were truly blessed. I hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I did.

I had the pleasure of working my "Darlin'" David at El Paso Electric for a number of years.  He was a kind and gentle soul with a loving heart and kind spirit.  His friendship impacted my life and left a positive imprint on my heart.  I pray that the Beltran family will find peace and comfort in knowing that he is at Peace with Our Lord and Saviour and resting in the arms of The Lord.  May your memories of David comfort you in your time of grief.

You were the best Nino anyone could have asked for. Thank you for all you have done for me. I love you and I will never forget you. Cosino comado ...I wa ti tu.

I had the pleasure of working with David at EPEC for many years and of one of my fondest memories was relieving David on Saturday mornings - we would have a feast and watch a show before he went home, 2 or 3 hours after his shift had ended.  His infectious laughter and cheerful nature always brought joy to everyone's lives.
