Daniel Rivas, 31, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, after a yearlong illness that he fought until the end, surrounded by family members. He is survived by his children, Amanda Jade and Nicholas Angel Rivas; Nephews, Noel A. and Nathaniel I. Rivas; Niece, Angelie F. Rivas; Brother, Armando Rivas, Jr. (Veronica); Father, Armando Rivas, Sr.; Mother, Isabel Q. Serrano (Jose); Paternal Grandmother, Margarita Gomez; Maternal Grandfather, Martin Quezada, Sr.; Stepbrother, Eduardo Serrano (Shay); Step-sister, Laura Greer; and a huge extended family. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Bertha Alicia Quezada and Cousin, Norma Mora.
He had a big heart and was very loving towards anyone who crossed his path. His life and memories will be cherished by his family and many friends; and will be greatly missed by all. Visitation for Daniel will be on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm with rosary at 6pm at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, Texas 79936. Church Service and Burial will be on Friday, January 26, 2024, TBD.
