On Sunday evening Danny took his final breath of life and began an eternal life, one where our brave soldier could finally take a rest with the Lord. Danny Hernandez Proudly Graduated from St Ignatius elementary and continued his Catholic Education at Cathedral High school (Class of 69’). It was there where he would eventually meet Great Friends new and old especially at the class Tamalada’s in which he Cherished greatly. Danny was called upon to serve our nation at the young age of 20. Through this he became a proud Vietnam Veteran of the 1st calvary and 101st Airborne division. Danny’s Life of service only continued after that as he was a Deputy with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department. He then joined the El Paso Ambulance Service and went on to become a member of the first graduating class of EMS. Danny will be remembered as a persevering soul with a heart that although was not healthy, was always filled with love and the desire to serve others. Danny will also be missed due to the laughter he was able to bring into every room he was in. Danny was a proud member of the Catholic Church. And while serving others was a passion of his, it was ultimately because Danny saw himself as the lord’s humble servant. Danny never gave up and, in these times, we ask those who loved him to follow in his brave nature. Danny Is Survived by his Wife of 45 Years Bertha Hernandez, His Daughter Celina Fragoso, His Son in law in which he considered his own, Lino Fragoso, and His 2 beloved Grandsons Gianni and Dominic Fragoso.
