CORRINE ANNE BEATON, 69, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in El Paso. She was a long time resident of El Paso. Donald and Corrine met in June of 1981 as a result of them working together. Their first date was on July 31, 1981 and they decided to get married before the end of that date and see if it worked or not. They were married on the deck in the rear of Corrine’s sister’s home in Bedford, Massachusetts over Labor Day Weekend the evening of September 4, 1981. Their honeymoon trip was delayed due to an upcoming business trip to Orlando, Florida which later they would take extra days to enjoy a visit to Disney World for a delayed honeymoon. In June of 1982, they traveled to El Paso for a job interview for Donald. He ultimately won the position and they both packed what belongings they had accumulated and with their German Shepherd, Wolf and everything packed, they drove the 2500 miles to El Paso. They rented an adobe home from Corrine’s good friend located in Mesilla, New Mexico where they lived from the end of August until December when they purchased a new home in El Paso and have resided there ever since. Corrine was a “stay-at-home” Mom to Wolf and added Feather in October for Corrine’s birthday while in Mesilla. Not too long after moving, Corrine took a job with the firm of Lee H. Burkholder, CPA, where she worked for over 25 years. Corrine had their only child, Stacey Marie was born at 6 months term. Stacey Marie passed away at 7 months old due to complications where she was laid to rest at Fort Bliss National Cemetery where her Mom Corrine, will also rest and now they will meet in heaven at God’s right hand and Corrine will be taking care of her for eternity. Corrine is survived by her beloved husband, Donald. Step children, Michelle and husband Joseph and 2 grandsons, Zachary and Joshua all of Kingston, New Hampshire and Michael of Atkinson, New Hampshire. Sister, Bernadette M. Alcaide of El Paso, sister-in-law, Trudy Coakley of Woburn, Massachusetts, and nephews, Scott Alcaide of San Francisco area of California, Mark Alcaide of Acton, Massachusetts, and Ralph S. Coakley, III of Woburn, Massachusetts. Nieces, Valerie Ouellette of Lewiston, Maine and Kim Lohnes of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, and Almost Daughter Shelley Young and beloved friend Debbie Vernon. Visitation will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home – West with a rosary to being at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home West Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flower contributions may be made to The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation.
