Corina Rubio Dukes, age 77, passed away on Sept 18, 2020 in El Paso, TX. She was born Aug 26,1943 in La Union, NM to Maria and Antonio Rubio. She was a long time resident of Dell City, TX and graduate of the class of 1962. She was a dedicated mother, wifeand grandmother. Her faith and family were her cornerstone.
Corina is survived by her children Alfonso Dukes Jr. Susan Dukes-Maldonado, Christie Romero, Lorrie Rodriguez their spouses, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alfonso Dukes Sr., her son SteveDukes and Alfonso Dukes(infant son).
Her surviving siblings are Manuela (Nellie)Almeida, María L. Vega, Celso Rubio and Julie Corral. Siblings preceding her in death are Tony Rubio Jr., Raul Rubio and Eduardo Rubio.
She was an amazing mother, loving grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, mother in law and friend. She will be truly missed. She lives on in our hearts forever.
We find great comfort in knowing she is with family, friends and our Lord and Savior.
