Hey mom, can’t believe it’s been 5 years already. I miss you, we all miss you. I just turned 14, I’m now in 8th grade, about to be a freshman, and I’ve joined a law enforcement academy at CHS so I can get my associates degree, Tío Angel and Arnie Were A HUGE influence, especially when Arnie joined the police department, and when Angel got promoted to lieutenant. Idk I just thought it was so interesting, and I found my love over there when we visited Angel in San Marcos, San Antonio and Austin are really pretty. Getting back on track, me and Ms Burnett have been working together to make some things possible. Last year in the summer, the school finally finished your portrait, right in front of your old room, 312. Mr Hernandez is in there now, he hasn’t really touched a thing, he’s actually kept the same format, he really cares about you. Me and Ms Raymond went to talk to The board members, and from there me and Ms Burnett got to talk to the superintendent, and he allowed us to rename the Ams soccer field after you. On May 17th, 2024, our soccer field will be the Claudia Ivette Martinez Garcia Memorial Field. Although 5 years have passed since we all last saw you, I remember you told us you were terrified of being forgotten, like in COCO. I’ve been really thinking about that since you passed, and I wanted to make sure you were never going to be forgotten, I wanted to make sure we all knew your name mom. I love you to the moon and back, I hope everything is well in the kingdom of heaven, I’ll be there soon, 5 years, 20, 50, 100, who knows, I just know it’ll be soon, it isn’t goodbye it’s just see you later, I love you mom,  remember, I’ll never forget you. I love you forever, I’ll love you for always, as long as you’re with me, my mom, you’ll be.

You know I don’t really write as much, but rn I feel the need to. I couldn’t sleep last night, and I didn’t feel like being on my phone or my computer. Instead I decided to look through some old videos and photos as I don’t have many of you, and oh man, my heart. Videos of you playing with me when I was little and you were playing soccer with me. Those are things I would kill to have back. The hours went by and I was watching these videos on repeat. I haven’t heard your beautiful voice in so long it hurts to hear it knowing I won’t hear it again for a long long time. I look back on those soccer videos and realize how much I’ve improved by taking your advice that you left me. Momma I Love You So Much. I miss you. I’ll be doing my thing throughout the day and then randomly I’ll start having a conversation with you. Idk if you’re there or if I’m just crazy but we’ve had some conversations I’ve dreamt of having for a while. I dreamt of something that would’ve come true but never did. Going to your class after that final bell rung. I was sitting on a beanbag chair and you were sitting at your desk asking me how old I was. I’m kinda at that point in life that I’m just Really tired of missing you. I don’t wanna miss you I wanna see you. The amount of times I’ve seen my friends with their moms and the amount of times I’ve seen them come to their events breaks my heart. Because half the time  Dad doesn’t go because he’s at work. He almost missed my academic awards, he almost missed my sports one, and he missed my band concert. I would kill for you to go and I would kill to have you drive me to school. Out of 8 billion people why did you have to go!? Why!?It’s so unfair. I was robbed of the life i could’ve lived. I’m confused I’m very lonely no one gets me why did you have to go! I want you back. Please give me a sign… anything… please… I love you so much mommy. I hope heaven is as amazing as it sounds like, I’m trying so hard to get closer to God so I can go and see you.BG❤️

It’s been 4 years, things don’t get easier… Mom the truth is, 4 years has gone by to fast, i can’t believe it’s been 1460 days since I last saw you. I’m 13 now mom, I wish you were here to see all the amazing things I’ve accomplished this year… I’m in 7th grade, about to go to 8th in less than a month…  I’ve played soccer, softball, and now I’m running track. I was a defender and wore the #9. I was the Star player for our team and the captain for the soccer team.  I run the 400, and the 4x400 relay at school. I’m a straight A student, and I’ve been asked to be part of NJHS next year. I love you so much, and In all reality the reason I’ve been so successful is bc of you. You always pushed me to be my best, and I’ve always wanted to be like you. I seriously wish you were here mom, I wish I could share all this with you. I wish you could be here with us in general, I’d do anything to see you again. Anything. You’re on my mind 24/7 and I wish that I could’ve spent a second more with you momma. I still remember all our amazing memories together… “Apple time” video game sessions, art, just sitting on the couch together… all the little moments are the ones I’ll always keep in my heart forever… I can’t wait till I see you again, I can’t wait till I get to see your smile once more, I can’t wait till I can hear your voice. I can’t wait till we get to be a family again… but for now, enjoy heaven. Enjoy Justin and Katie, enjoy great grandmas and grandpas, cousins, uncles, aunts, etc. I hope to see you when I arrive to Heaven. I’ll tell you everything I did down here, and you tell me everything that happened In heaven… I look forward to an eternity with you, I look forward to when we reunite… I love you too the moon and back, you’re the best mom in the whole wide world.

Mom!! Omg!!! Happy Birthday!!! Ahhh I can’t believe you’re 40 already! It feels like just yesterday we celebrated your 36th birthday! 
I love you so much mom. It’s crazy how much time has passed by. I hope you’ve been well and I hope you’re celebrating with everyone up above! Tres Leches cake, and family by your side. I love you so much mom you’ll never know how much. I can’t wait till I see you again, and I’ll be writing to you and celebrating every Birthday of yours to come! 
Speaking of you me and dad have mild-stone birthdays this year!! You and dad are 40 and I’m gonna be 13! Aye mom I wish you were here so we can celebrate this huge accomplishment. 40 years, that’s crazy to think about. We bought a lock for you and put it on a sign that says “One love” and one day we’re going to come back and open it for you.

Hey Mom!! 
Today is October 4th 2022!!! I’m 12 years old and in 7th grade. The past 2 days I’ve been trying out for soccer at Ams!! And today was super hard. Lots of running and conditioning and lots of pushing through hard practices and drills. At 2:00 was the end of tryouts and I’m super super excited to tell you I made the team!! I made the soccer team!! I’ve been practicing and waiting for this my entire life!! I’m so happy!! I didn’t play soccer for so long and then I thought about you and I pushed through worked hard and here I am!! I’m so happy I’m so happy!! I did all of this for you!! I wanted to be able to make you proud! And here we are!! I hope you’re proud of me mom! You’re my motivation everyday and the reason I wanna play soccer and get up in the morning. I live for you!! Soccer is my life and I love this sport so much! Thank you for putting me in that league when I was young and thank you for teaching me how to pass kick and drop kick!! I love you so much and I dedicate this accomplishment to you mom. Every goal everything I do in soccer it’s for YOU. Thank you for everything and I’m going to try to make you proud this season. Dear Mom today is November 14th 2021
A lot has happened since I’ve talked to you last…. I’m 11 years old and I’m in the 6th grade at Ams, However today was going great me and Isaac were looking through the garage and we’re looking through some of our elementary books from kinder- 3rd grade while I was searching for more things I found something that would change my view on life…. I was looking through a old cabinet and I see a white binder that Says Ms Martinez on the front I open it to see your grade book after flipping through the pages I see that you’ve cut out a section of a news paper that showed you were a Varsity Coach at CHS and that was so cool for me to see on the paper I flip through more pages to see a 2001 article about you and the CHS Lady Eagles Varsity Soccer team… it showed that you were the best soccer player at CHS and that you scored 20 goals in the season that made me so happy flipping through the Binder to find soccer articles and photos and it made me realize how amazing my mom was at soccer…… All of a sudden that happiness turned to sadness when I recalled a horrible memory the day when I last saw you….. today I’ve been thinking about that memory all day…. But I’ve also been thinking about the time when I made a half court soccer shot and that made my mood to a medium level knowing that I had such a legendary Mom but the sorrow of having to loose my treasure so soon…..

Cómo expresó mis sentimientos en palabras...  La verdad que no hay palabras para decirte cuánto te extraño y cuánto me haces falta...  Cuando te fuiste te llevaste todo mi corazón.  No hay un solo momento en mi vida donde no pienso en ti.  Yo se que estás bien con nuestro Padre Celestial gozando del maravilloso paraíso pero aún todavía tengo ese sentimiento vacío adentro de mi.  Nunca se te olvide que te amo con todas las fuerzas de mi alma.  Aquí sigo echándole ganas para nuestros padres, nuestro hermano, tu esposo, y más importante... tus hijos.  Gracias por las enseñanzas que me dejaste en esta vida.  I miss you Bro... I miss your beautiful smile... I miss calling you in the mornings just to say hello... Dear mom It is been 2 years since I've last seen you... it hurts too think that it has been 2 years since we've all had to say goodbye.
2 years ago today it is very blurry for me to remember but around the time i'm writing this 9:38pm is the last time I saw you.... I walk in to see you in the bed so sick very sick.. All I could do is watch in shear horror I wasn't trying to get you scared but on the inside I was crying my heart out... You couldn't speak or see me for the last time I just remember you writing something then me saying goodnight 
and that I love you...Next thing I know it i'm awakened  being carried to Two Angels truck... I knew what had happened but was so tired to process it... I looked up to your hospital window I saw the lights turn off... Of course I knew what happened deep in my heart but I didn't have the emotion to cry...... A couple days later there came the funeral... As I walked inside the room all I could see is a lifeless version of you sitting in a coffin.... I couldn't keep it in anymore...  the very next day  was our final goodbye... I sat there looking at you knowing it was the end... backing off toward dad the coffin was closed I never saw you again...
Although its been 2 years I will never stop loving you... Ill continue to celebrate the good times

This is my 3rd time writing but Dear mom its been a while since I've seen you....im really sad and I get like this when April nears..I REMEMBER you in my dreams but I can never say anything because before I can say I love you I wake up and you disappear...I agree on the fact that it wasn't fair...I don't know why you where taken from us but I just happened and its life...as my 11tth birthday approches memories of you singing happy birthday is all gone.. the days we sit to eat a green apple gone... soccer days gone remember you being there after school...asking how my days been...So here it is in 7 months ill be going to Alderete middle school we had plans on how things would work seeing you around school but its gone all gone..ive committed my self to go to your class after school everyday...cant wait to see the awards and how you brought ams how it is today.. I was only 9 years old now I have to spend the rest of my life without you...I text you here and there but I know you won't answer... I cant wait to see you again love you to the moon and back

Looking back I now realize what I should've done in the first place. Im taking this hard but in a different stage. I lost so much more than what I thought I lost. I lost a lifetime of memories. fights even though I wasn't a big fan of it. socializing I lost many trust.i lost way more. If I could do it all over id try to be a better me. spend less time fighting spend triple the time. In 2018, I was token to Disney land I thought it was for fun but it was actually so we can have one good final memory.We had a great time.  I was only 9 when she passed on it didn't help that I had a test for a serious reason. As we fast foward the clock 1 year later I'm now 10 years old and i'm heading into middle next year the school she worked in I can feel her spirit and I feel like its important to go there win the soccer games. stop by her class after school and most of all. She will be with me for my 3 year journey into middle school. I love you mom, never forget it. I agree its not fair. but I know why you were called. You had so much to live for god took the one thing I love most in this life. ill see you one day ill tell you about my life. you tell Me how heaven was for the couple of years I hope im making you proud and I will never forget you. ill make sure the family dosn't forget you. ill make sure your story is told it will take a while to heal. Many tell me move on but im not ready. if this was a race id probably lose im still at the start. I know you've been trying to tell me something but before I can say anything you disappear.
