I've known this wonderful, kindhearted, and hugely talented man for several years. He painted a portrait of me that I treasure.  I'm still trying to except this loss. Gone too soon and I will never forget him. My prayers and love to his family.

How I Will Remember Chris:

One time when we were kids, we were home alone and playing a game where we would throw darts at each. Yes, darts. Not plastic darts. Metal darts.
We would hide behind furniture and then throw them. We weren't really trying to hit each other, BUT that's not what happened.

When Chris wasn't ready, I accidentally let a dart go. The dart flew through the air, and as if in slow motion, hit him in the ankle. He fell to the ground in a panic and I panicked as well! I run over over to him and he said, "Dont pull it out!". So I reached over and immediately PULLED it out. 

I'll always remember that he wasnt mad when I did it. He just looked at this bleeding hole in his ankle and said, "oh..."
We had a lot of "fun" as kids.
