Chris Ramirez, 37, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was a beloved brother, son, and friend to many. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and often enjoyed a good laugh from memories shared. He was a man of faith and believed in Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Chris was blessed with God-given talent that allowed him to excel in academics and sports at a very young age through highschool as a leading quarterback on the Americas Highschool football team to playing for the UTEP Miners football team and excelling in his professional career as teacher and coach for El Dorado Highschool. His dream was to be an engineer, his dream became reality when he became a Mechanical and Systems Engineer for Boeing. He recieved his education from the University of Texas at El Paso in Mechanical Engineering (2006), Master of Science in Systems Engineering (2014), Advanced Project Management Certification from Stanford University (2016). He is survived by his mother and father, Rafael and Maria Ramirez, brothers and sisters, Christina (Ray- husband) Sanchez, Emmanuel, Josue, Sara, and his nephew and niece, Israel and Genesis, and many family members of the Ramirez and Acosta families. Chris now rejoices in the presence of God with his grandmother and uncle, Consuelo and Raymundo. Grandfather's, Rafael Sr and Audelio Acosta.
Celebration of Chris Ramirez Life Service at Abundant Living Faith Center East, 1000 Valley Crest, Sunday, October 7, 2018. Doors open 5:00 pm.
Celebration Service 6:00 pm. Burial will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at 12:00pm, Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave.
