Christine P. Torres

Christine P. Torres, 88, died peacefully on April 6, 2023, Holy Thursday. Christine was born in El Paso, Texas and is a graduate of Ysleta High School and was in the Drum Corps. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley’s altar society and prayed the rosary everyday with Mother Angelica on EWTN. She loved sewing and baking and made the best cookies and empanadas. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Above all she was devoted to her family, church and God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Torres, her brothers, Arturo Pedregon and Viterbo Pedregon and her parents, Jose and Magdalena Pedregon. She is survived by her sons, Dan Torres (Chickie), David Torres (Adriana); her daughters, Becky Aleman (Martin), Deborah Torres (Robert); grandchildren, Raymond Torres, Robert Torres, Danielle Torres, Marissa Aleman, Michael Aleman, Ariana Torres, Jackie Bracamontes, Phillip Bracamontes, Matthew Liano; great-grandchildren, David & Noah Torres, Sophia Jurado, Kayleigh Torres; her brother, Rodolfo Pedregon, her sister, Angelina Ramirez; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
