Pastors Paul and Christine were my Pastors for several years. The thing I remember most about Mrs. McEachern was her soft, gentle voice. I never heard her raise it. She had the most humble and gentle way about her. She was a precious woman. Foursquare Church in El Paso, Texas is where I first heard about Jesus, and my need for a Savior. I received Christ as my Savior at age 10 in Sally King's class.  I loved that church and the precious Christians our family attended with. They affected my life in a profound way.  

I have many wonderful memories of Sister Mac especially her gift of music. Growing up as a kid, her ability to play so many instruments amazed me.  In church I can remember her playing the xylophone, the cow bells, the piano, the organ (and the accordion if my memory serves me right).   To hear her was always a joy.  She also had an amazing memory of songs and hymns. I remember services where Brother Mac would ask for a favorite hymn…someone would request one, and in a moment, Sister Mac would start right up on her piano.   As a kid one of my favorite hymns was “In My Heart There Rings a Melody”.  One Sunday night service I begged my mother to request that song for me, then thinking to myself, it’s not a popular hymn; Sister Mac may not know it.  To my surprise, she did.  Her gift of music ministered and blessed so many lives, she was amazing.
Sister Mac was a wonderful person and represented Christ in all she did.  Her smiles were always full of warmth and love. Her dedication and commitment, side by side with Brother Mac, went without question; she lived her life honoring God. I am so thankful to have grown up in church with Brother and Sister Mac as my pastors; their ministry truly touched my life.
Brother Mac, Becky, Mark and family, you are in my prayers.  During this difficult journey I pray that God will strengthen you.  May the Holy Spirit give you peace, comfort and rest.

Grammie was an amazing woman! She lived a life dedicated to Christ and you knew that the moment you met her. Everytime I spoke to her on the phone she reminded me that she and Big Daddy prayed for me everyday. I'm going to miss Grammie so much, but I know she's in heaven and we'll all see her again one day.

The Psalmist tells us that each of us our intracately woven together way before we were even conceived.  When God created Chris he made a beutfiul woman with a pure spirt and a great musical talent.

When I first met Chris Becky told me her Mom was a little different, a pure spirit and a wonderfully talented pianist.  In actuality Paul was the one she should have gave me a heads up about with all his shenanagins.  From the first day I met Chris she was a pure dleight.  A guy could not ask for a more wonderful Mother-in-law.  She immediatly accepted me as a person and never had a critical or harsh word.

Chris left a legacy with our family.   She deposited her sweet, gentle spirit into my wife.  I see it everyday.  how Becky loves her kids, grandkids and her long suffering endurance putting up with her husband.  

I will miss Chris and miss the institution we all know as Brother and Sister Mac.  Now Paul will have to fight the good fight without his help mate.  We will keep close tabs on Paul and keep him in our prayers.

I am looking forward to the day I get to hear Chris play once again.  What a sweet, glorius time that will be.

My Mama was a wonderful person.  She was a Godly woman with a strong faith and a gentle spirit.  She was happy, positive and had a great sense of humor. She was an amazingly gifted musician, yet she was very humble and used her gift to honor the Lord.  I miss her, but I know I will see her again in heaven!

I will always have special memories of Sis. Mac.  She had such a gentle, sweet spirit and always smiled.  It was always such a treat, during the years I attended Foursquare as a young girl, to hear her play the piano and the cow bells.  I'm especially thankful that she played at my wedding 19 years ago.  I look forward to the day I get to see Sis. Mac again!

I had the privilege of attending sister McEachern's funeral services in El Paso, with my mother Leonie Wilson, and my brother Daniel.  It was a blessing to see Becky and Mark, and to truly witness the joy of their knowing that their mother is in God's hands now.  I was blessed to spend time in the presence of Brother and Sister Mac when I attended the Four Square church in El Paso as a kiddo.  I attended summer camp twice and got to ride with Brother and Sister Mac in their car in the carvan to camp.  I remember one trip, the speedometer on their station wagon went out, but sister Mac was able to tell what the speed was based upon the pitch of the sound the wind made through the little triangular window - truly amazing!.  I will always remember the ready smile, and gleeful spirit she so readily shared.  I'm grateful that at the age of 83 she climbed a VERY steep stair case in her determination to play the organ at my father's funeral service in November 2008 at Harding Orr downtown EL Paso. It gives me goose bumps to remember the true love that Brother Mac had for Sister Mac, and how they were so attuned to each other; she knew exactly what Brother Mac was thinking and what he was going to say before he said it.  I truly admire Brother Paul McEachern for the ministry that he and Sister Mac provided to the city of El Paso. Sister Mac was an integral part of that ministry, including their participation and Sister Mac's piano playing at my dad's very small humble church on Montana Ave, even into the month of August just prior to her passing. I know that brother Mac has the peace of knowing that his wife is in God's hands now.  I wish and pray however that God may be very generous with his strength and peace toward Pastor Mac as he adjust to continuing his journey without Sister Mac physically present. May that peace and strength flow like a mighty rushing river to my spiritual brother Paul McEachern, and his family. With love,

We consider it a blessing that we were able to know you and receive hugs when we would visit with Cliff and Jane in El Paso.  You both were always such a blessing and encouragement to us.  Sister Christine was a precious little lady and we will always remember her.  Brother Mc - you and your family are in our prayers.  May God give you comfort and peace beyond understanding. Brother McEachern:  Although, my husband and I were not members of your congregation, we often visited your services and our daughters were music students of your dear loving wife for a time in their youth. As others have stated, your precious loved one, Sister McEachern, always portrayed the life of Christ to us.  May the peace of God that passes all understanding keep your heart and mind during this period and until that day when you are reunited with your other half.

Mark, Becky your Mom was a very kind person to me...and patient!  She never turned down a request to play me a tune on the piano.  Be it the theme to 'the Sting' or a recent radio hit.  She influenced me personally, as did your Dad and you guys.  Love ya'll.

Becky, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.  Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and   prayers.  I have such wonderful memories of your family.

What a privilege afforded to me to have been raised in the El Paso church, pastored by Bro & Sis Mac. Her love and devotion to the Lord was a continual inspiration.  It was an honor to have been one of her piano students, but never learned as much as I should have, her talent was awesome. Our intriguing trips each year to summer camp with Sis Mac leading the way, are unforgetable and precious memories. Our church costumes will live forever. Never an unkind or harsh word was ever heard from her, just a sweet gentle spirit was always felt.
Yes, another treasure laid up in heaven for me and one day we will be together forever. Bro. Mac, Becky and Mark, my heart extends to you at this time, I understand the difficulty but God is holding you in His Loving Arms.

She was as Godly a woman as I will ever know...she lived without malice toward anyone, asked nothing for herself and steadfastly supported the ministry to her husband, Paul.  Her ministry was through her extraordinary ability to play the piano with a unique technique all her own, which touched the hearts of anyone listening to her. It was as though she was playing for God's pleasure.  She was precious to our family and was a part of every significant event for over 50 years.  When we remember "Sister Mac", we will recall her gentle nature, her absolute faith in God, her incredible musical talent and for over 55 years, sitting in the front pew, listening to her beloved husband preach the Word. She could have taken the world's stage as a pianist, but, instead, she chose a little church on Fort Blvd. We were blessed to have her. If there are cow bells, a piano or an organ in Heaven, I know she is making beautiful music up There.  My sincerest sympathy to her loving family, most especially, our dear "Brother Mac.
