Celia S. Dominguez

CELIA S. DOMINGUEZ was born April 16, 1932 in El Sauz, Chihuahua, Mexico and passed away on February 14, 2015 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 82. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Guadalupe Dominguez Jr. They married on Valentine’s Day 1954 and celebrated their anniversary at each other’s side surrounded by family. She is also survived by her 3 children, their spouses, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson – Alicia Pinkham, and her husband Keith Pinkham; Leticia Mora, her husband Carlos Mora, and their children Victoria Mora, her husband Alejandro Meza, Carlos Mora Jr., his wife Cristina Mora, their son Carlos Mora III, and David Mora; David Dominguez, his wife Beverly Dominguez, and their children Marisol Sian Dominguez and Shawn Michael Dominguez. Celia was one of 13 children born to Carlos and Maria Salazar of El Sauz, Chihuahua, with surviving siblings: Carlota Salazar, Otilia Salazar, Soledad Salazar, Manuel Salazar, Jorge Salazar and Lazaro Salazar. Celia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and parishioner of Cristo Rey Catholic Church, a proud American, and frequent donor to various U.S. veteran associations. Visitation will be held on February 16 from 6pm to 9pm, with Holy Rosary at 7pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 9am on February 17 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Street, El Paso, Texas 79907.
