Cecilia S Estrada

Cecilia S. Estrada, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, left this life on Monday, July 31st. A lifelong El Paso resident, and a proud Bowie graduate (class of ’43), she worshipped at Santo Nino de Atocha and loved her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Estrada; her parents, Anastacio and Josefa Sanchez, her siblings Anastacio & Willie Sanchez, and Nena Alvarado.

Cecilia is survived by her children: Josie Gonzalez -- Fernando, Arturo Estrada -- Marta, Irene Esparza, and Ramon Estrada -- Lupe; her grandchildren: Belinda Veloz, Gabriel Veloz -- Jessica, Zeke Estrada, Andres Esparza, Marisa Esparza, and Chris Beard -- Lety; her great-grandchild A’edan Esparza (a light in her life), and Cinthia Bardales; many nieces, nephews, and friends who she loved like family, including Leonor Mares, Roland Esparza, Gloria Rodriguez, Lili Diaz, Maria Holguin, Alicia Campos, Sandra Alvarado , Bertha Garcia and countless friends.

Muchos la querian. Era muy cariñosa. Era Querida, Esta con Dios.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Vigil at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church. Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
