Carlos Molina was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Carlos was known throughout his life as “el Troca”. Carlos met the love of his life Lilly while attending Jefferson High School. Their love blossomed over a piece of cake. After graduating high school Carlos served in the United States Army. During this time he and Lilly married at Guardian Angel Catholic Church on June 6, 1954. Carlos was honorably discharged and despite many a job offers from the Colonel he decided to work in the family business. After a few years he started his own trucking business named “Molina’s trucking”. After 62 years of marriage the love between Carlos and Lilly was beautiful and everlasting. Carlos is preceded in death by his parents: Avelino Sr. and Luz Molina; his siblings: Angel Molina, Avelino Molina Jr. and Alicia Molina, his son: Chuck Molina and grandchildren Ashley Molina and great grandchildren Matthew Dobbs. Carlos leaves behind his spouse Lilly Molina, his sister Elvira Molina, his children Linda (Daniel) Campos, Danny Molina, Priscilla Leon; his grandchildren: Alexandra (Alejandro) Montoya, Eliza Leon, Caroline Molina, Nicole (Denise) Diaz, Sarah Leon, and Leandra Leon and great grandchildren Kayla Molina, Isabella Montoya and Luke Dobbs. Pallbearers: Ryan Molina, Bert Venegas, Gilbert Molina, Harry Kosner, David Rodriguez, and Ricardo Molina. Visitation will be held from 5:00- 9:00pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Crestview Funeral Home with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass: 9:15am Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. A Committal Service will begin at 10:30am Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Crestview Funeral Home, El Paso, TX.
